Your day is your own - you can visit the local Pride and Prejudice  "landmarks", see the wonderful buildings where The Other Boleyn Girl was filmed, or walk Dove Dale, picnic at Chatsworth House, wander down Monsal Head, make a splash at Carsington Water, sniff out the cheese shop in Hartington, bike the Tissington Trail,  or visit and learn the history of Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall and Bolsover Castle.  This year is the 400th Anniversary of the death of Bess of Hardwick and there are Tudor and Elizabethan events planned throughout 2008. 

You can visit any of the beauty spots of  Derbyshire, all without the faintest worry of planning your evening meal, wondering where and when the shops are open, or even whether or not you can get a reservation in a suitable  restaurant! Your chef and host will cook a dinner-party style evening meal, breakfast, and bake a cake for your afternoon tea.
